The Gathering under konstant nettangrep – Dagbladet.no

Data Gathering The Gathering in Vikingskipet once goes away without complications. This Easter event more vulnerable to cyber attacks than ever before.

About 5,500 youngsters and almost 10,000 computers are at work in the world’s second largest computer in Hamar. All the machines are connected to the 40 gigabit large internet connection in the Viking Ship, as the last two days, the constant has been subjected to so-called DDoS attacks, writes Hamar Arbeiderblad.

– This is an enemy attack. DDoS attacks are simply the filling capacity of the Internet connection. You can compare with the E6 is full. There’s a line, and you can not get through, says Peter Blakstad, technically responsible for the gathering, told the newspaper.

– Participants have noticed, there is no doubt. But we have managed to minimize the damage as far as possible. But there is no cure for DDoS, so we’ll just do what we can. Unfortunately it is very easy to do these attacks, as the world is today, continues Blakstadheia.

He did not suspect that there are professional hackers trying to make Easter holidays sour for thousands of youngsters.

– it’s enough for some of the younger generation who think it’s fun to see what kind of consequences it provides, but that does not see the big picture and how serious it can be.

We are now testing the Mercedes that can drive themselves – ABC News

One of the most famous car models are brand new this year. There are in fact ready for a new generation of Mercedes E-class. Here at home, this is a very popular car for families with good advice.

Mercedes are in a very offensive term. They have launched a number of new models in recent years, while having carried out a small design revolution.

Secondly, new E-Class are clear and visible. It should be class-leading car, and simultaneously raise the level of the entire segment. Mercedes comes with many new technologies, including a number of aids which in practice makes the car almost self-executing.

They are hardly tougher car classes than just this. Broom editor Knut Skogstad is right now on the world launch of the car in Portugal. He went off early-early morning. Now it’s time for a little report from him.

Exciting model

call, call

– Hey, Elaine! Waited for you to call, I assume that you are excited about the new E-class?

– Yes, of course I am! Goes well on tour?

– Very good! Today I have actually done something for the first time. I actually made it very earliest flight from Gardermoen. 05.55 was the resignation. I have traveled with many early aircraft before, but never what it says at the top of the screens when you get to the airport, in the morning. So here was the early start to the day, begin to notice it now!

is how it looks when pulling early-early Gardermoen .

– Then let’s hope the car is worth it?

– Yes, that’s it! This is an exciting model in many ways. Not least because it should show us just what Mercedes is capable of when it comes to creating luxury car in 2016 E-Class is one of their most important models. It should lead the way and must also offer news competitors do not have. And it does it well. This is a small technology bomb. While Mercedes runs on with luxury and comfort.

They went high, but it is the world’s best car?

Can just sit back

– E -class shows including how far Mercedes has now arrived in relation to create self-running cars. Here are the utilities that control the car, gas and brakes. You can drop the wheel in both urban and highway. Radars and sensors relate to road markings, but you can also follow the car in front, at speeds of up to 210 km / h. In up to 130 km / h adjusted distance and control automatically, even on roads without markings, says Knut.

– When we speak well in practice self-driving car?

– we do, and without that Mercedes says it themselves, they have now come so far that there is anything in the way of that you as a driver just sit back and relax. But they stress all the time that cars are not self-executing. One example: You do not hold the steering wheel of the car to turn and keep your position in the roadway. But after a certain time, it’s going to signal that “now you have to take the wheel.” If you then do not touch the wheel and turns a bit, keep alert, before the car begins to slow down by itself.

This car park itself

333 horsepower

– today we have demonstrated that a variety of technological solutions on a closed circuit. And so there have been a few hours with lanseveiskjøring. The idea was to get run 220 CDi being a very topical car for Norway, but copies of it disappeared quickly, before I could make me a key.

– Yes, it’s not a 220 you standing next to the picture above ..?

– It is rightly seen! There are in fact a 400, with 333 horsepower. Fantastic engine and stunning slide, there has been some very funny mil in it today. But tomorrow I promised a 220!

High techno factor

– And then a lot has happened inside here?

– Yes it progress the a proper race around infotainment in vehicles now, and there are Mercedes forefront. The trend is really fast. Previous generation E-Class looks almost outdated out, in relation to this. Here it including dual high-resolution displays and touch-sensitive control buttons on the steering wheel. It is high tenkofaktor in this interior, linked with luxury and much nice accessories. One thing is certainly for sure: It will not be easy being a competitor when this car rolls onto the market sometime soon, says Knut.

We will naturally return with full test of the new E-class when he is home again.

It looks like this in the new E-class and yes: You can drop the wheel even at high speeds.

This Mercedes has been a roaring success
