LG Launches' banana mobile "- Aftenposten

LG was beaten by Samsung, which recently launched its first bent smartphone, Galaxy Round. But now the Korean second violinist taken a big leap and launched its own phone with a bend.

I can therefore invoke me to have a sense of design documents, when needed. SA has never been an obstacle to it.

My point is even if Apple’s word processing program can certainly be characterized as simple in comparison to everything that Word has to offer, there are too many users a full-featured word processor. And it is my contention that the other iWork apps, presentation program Keynote and Numbers spreadsheet application, for many does the job fine enough.

Do not lose sleep over

Now, I do not think that Microsoft is losing sleep because if Apple offers free competitors to Office programs. But the message from Apple that you get with virtually everything you need software without having to pay a penny more than the machine costs, may well contribute to a noticeable strengthening of Apple’s position vis-à-vis competitors.

Apple will certainly not get rid of the piston to supply animal products with this, but those who have begun to sniff the Apple world, enjoy them with the hardware now getting by as much useful and fun software that in practice they do not have to worry about software procurement for a long time. Nav reorganize its IT Renewal - Aftenposten

Microsoft har bekreftet at det er en feil i operativsystemet Windows Phone 8 som kan føre til massiv lasting av mobildata uten at du foretar deg noe som helst. Journalister knyttet til nettstedet The Verge opplevde at 3,3 GB med data ble lastet ned i løpet av en uke uten at de var klar over det. Av disse var 300 MB mobildata.

Feilen ligger i den innebygde Twitter-funksjonaliteten i operativsystemet gjennom People Hub (Personer). Det viser seg nemlig at mobilen hyppig laster ned profilbildene til Twitter-kontaktene dine, og jo flere kontakter du har, jo mer data lastes ned, skriver The Verge. Ifølge nettstedet skal Microsoft ha en midlertidig fiks klar, som gjør at Twitter-kontoen kun synkroniseres en gang om dagen. Man kan også fjerne Twitter-kontoen og benytte webutgaven av Twitter til feilen er ordentlig fikset. Det har Microsoft lovet skal skje i løpet av de neste ukene, ifølge kilden.

Programvaregiganten Microsoft leverte torsdag kveld regnskapet for sitt regnskapsmessige førstekvartal. Det var kanskje siste gang toppsjef Steve Ballmer kunne fremlegge resultater, og for han smakte det nok ekstra godt at selskapet kunne levere langt bedre omsetning og resultat enn hva markedet hadde forventet.

Omsetningen endte på 18,5 milliarder dollar, 109 milliarder norske kroner, for kvartalet. Dette er en vekst på 16 prosent fra samme periode året før og er rekord for selskapet. De har altså aldri omsatt for like mye penger.

Nettoresultatet endte på 5,24 milliarder dollar, 31 milliarder kroner. Samme periode året før dro selskapet inn 4,47 milliarder dollar, 26,4 milliarder norske kroner. Det fremgår av selskapets kvartalsrapport.

Omsetningen i «Devices and Consumer» steg med 4 prosent til 7,46 milliarder dollar i perioden. Her finner vi blant annet inntektene fra selskapets Windows-lisenser, Surface-brettene, Xbox og andre konsumentrettede produkter. OEM-inntektene fra Windows, som er knyttet opp til PC-salget, falt med 7 prosent.

Men et lyspunkt er inntektene fra Surface-nettbrettene. I kvartalet, som ble avsluttet 30. september, hadde de solgt nettbrett for 400 millioner dollar. Dette er langt mer enn hva markedet hadde forventet: Ifølge Bloomberg News hadde meglerhuset Goldman Sachs forventet et salg på under 200 millioner dollar. Microsoft skal dessuten ha solgt dobbelt så mange nettbrett som det foregående kvartalet.

Men det er i bedriftsmarkedet Microsoft gjør storeslem. Omsetningen innen dette feltet steg med 10 prosent til 11,2 milliarder dollar. Salget av SQL Server steg med tosifrede prosenter. Salget av SQL Server Premium har steget med over 30 prosent. Også salget av Sharepoint, Lync og Exchange har steget tosifret i perioden.

Nettskyinntekten, som fremdeles er for små til å gjøre store innhugg i resultatene, økte med 103 prosent.

Aksjekursen til Microsoft steg med over 7 prosent i uoffisiell handel etter at tallene ble kjent i markedet, noe som er et tydelig signal på at markedet trakk et lettelsens sukk da tallene ble kjent. Selskapet leverer bedre nesten på alle felt, og svinnet i PC-markedet har rammet giganten mindre brutalt enn forventet.

Arbeids- og velferdsdirektoratet (Nav) besluttet fredag med umiddelbar virkning å omorganisere den omfattende IT-fornyingen som pågår i etaten.

Programmet har en ramme på 3,3 milliarder kroner fram til 2018.

Direktør Ingunn Midttun Godal i Utviklingssekretariatet sier til NTB at moderniseringsprogrammet fortsetter, men uten prosjektorganisering i en egen enhet.

– Vi jobber alt vi kan for at Nav skal nå sin ambisjon om innføring av uførereformen 1. januar 2015, sier hun.

Uførereformen er et av de største IKT-utviklingsprosjektene i Norge, med en ramme på cirka 750 millioner kroner fra august 2013.

Nav har 57 medarbeidere i den delen som nå avvikles. Disse arbeider ikke med uførereformen.

– Ingen av disse vil miste jobben. Mandag starter vi en prosess med mål om å finne en løsning for hver enkelt i løpet av uken. Noen vil jobbe videre med modernisering i andre enheter i Nav, mens andre går tilbake til sine tidligere arbeidsoppgaver, sier Midttun Godal.

Steria avventer
IT-moderniseringen i Nav er organisert ved at etaten selv har regien på programmet, mens spesialkompetanse hentes inn fra eksterne leverandører gjennom rammeavtaler.

IT-selskapet Steria er blant de største leverandørene til programmet og har flere medarbeidere hos Nav.

– Vi skal snakke med Nav om den situasjonen som har oppstått. Det må vi få gjøre før vi kan komme med reaksjoner offentlig, sier markedsdirektør Anders Lindgren, til

Ingunn Midttun Godal sier at kontraktsdialogen mellom Nav og leverandørene opprettholdes etter omorganiseringen.

– For de delene av moderniseringsarbeidet som nå planlegges på nytt, er det for tidlig å si noe om eventuelle endringer i innhold og omfang, sier hun.

– Voksen beslutning
Direktoratet for forvaltning og IKT (Difi) ble orientert om beslutningen fredag. Avdelingsdirektør Tone Bringedal mener Nav har tatt en voksen beslutning.

– Dette er en krevende beslutning å ta når det omfatter så mange mennesker. Når man sitter på et stort gjennomføringsansvar og begynner å kjenne at man ikke jobber på rett måte, er det ansvarlig å ta en pust i bakken. Både forskning og erfaring viser at man heller har for vane å gå for langt før man stopper, sier Bringedal til Teknisk Ukeblad.

Avdelingsdirektøren tror Nav selv har best kompetanse til å finne veien videre.

– Derimot er vi interessert i senere å få detaljer om hva de har lært av dette, sier hun.

Krevende
Moderniseringsarbeidet i Nav skal være svært krevende.

– Etaten har mange gamle systemer fra de tidligere etatene som skal fornyes med nye systemer og løsninger. Samtidig skal vi innføre en uførereform med nytt regelverk, et saksbehandlingssystem og en selvbetjeningsløsning for brukerne, sier Midttun Godal.

I arbeidet med uførereformen har det vist seg at samspillet mellom nye og gamle løsninger er langt mer komplisert enn Nav forutså.

– Analyser gjennom våren og sommeren medførte at vi i høst besluttet en ny strategi for uførereformen, sier hun.

eight illegal buildings - NRK

Torsdag skal planutvalget i Vadsø behandle en sak om åtte ulovlig oppførte bygg på en tomt i Vadsø.

Byggene ble oppdaget da kommunens landbrukssjef var på befaring på en annen tomt i området.

De åtte ulovlig oppførte byggene omfatter blant annet garasje, dukkehus, røykeri, to sjåer og et drivhus.

– Ingenting av det vi ser her søkt om. Det er beklagelig, for vi har tross alt et regelverk som alle er pålagt å følge, sier landbrukssjef Jan Wengen.

Oppdaget allerede for 20 år siden

Allerede for 20 år siden ble det registrert ulovlige bygg på tomta, og torsdag skal saken altså opp i planutvalget i Vadsø kommune.

Huset som står oppført på tomta er opprinnelig regulert til en fritidsbolig. Mannen har søkt om bruksendring av tomta og om utvidelse av tomta.

Han har også levert byggesøknad på flere av byggene.

Leder Hjalmar Steinnes (SV) i planutvalget vil ikke forskuttere hva kommunen kommer til å gjøre.

– I verste fall blir det pålegg om riving. Det foregår en god del ulovlig bygging både i Vadsø og andre steder. Dette må vi gripe fatt i, sier Steinnes.

Først i verden

Og i dag er det faktisk verdenspremiere for et helt nytt Shop-in-Shop-konsept fra Apple på Elkjøp Megastore på Lørenskog utenfor Oslo.

– Vi i Elkjøp er veldig stolte av å være de første i verden som får vise fram Apples nye butikkonsept, og dette er selvsagt utrolig artig for oss. Apples produkter er veldig populære hos våre kunder og ser man på nettbrett, der iPad er bestselgeren, har salget eksplodert de siste årene. Vi ser nå fram til å vise våre kunder Apple-produkter på en ny og enda mer spennende måte, sier administrerende direktør i Elkjøp Norge, Andreas Niss.

Det nye butikkonseptet skal nå ligne mer Apples egne forretninger.

Blant annet skal den nye butikkløsningen fra Apple fremstå som lysere og åpnere enn den tidligere løsningen og man skal også vie mer plass til iPad og Apple TV enn tidligere.

Spesialister fra Apple

Ifølge Øystein Andre Schmidt i Elkjøp stiller Apple med sine egne spesialister og folk som skrur opp den nye Apple-butikken. Det er også ansatte fra Apple som vil betjene kundene butikk-i-butikken hos Elkjøp.

– Det er vår butikk og våre lokaler, men Apple har sine egne ansatte i Shop-in-shop-løsningen, sier Schmidt. Han sier at Elkjøp på Lørenskog i Norge er først ute og at Apple nå skal fortsette å bygge denne typen butikkløsninger over hele verden.

Først også i 2008

Helt tilfeldig er det ikke at Elkjøp Megastore på Lørenskog er først ute med den nye løsningen. Det var også samme butikk som var først til å teste ut dette konseptet for Apple i 2008. Nå er de altså først igjen.

– Jeg syns det er helt rått at vi får være så tidlig ute med dette og ble kjempekry da jeg fikk høre at vi er først i verden med det nye konseptet. Den nye Shop-in-Shop-løsningen kommer til å bli enda bedre for kundene våre, som nå får boltre seg i en ny, frisk og utvidet Apple-avdeling, sier varehussjef ved Elkjøps Megastore på Lørenskog, Kristian Pedersen.

Apple har i dag totalt 15 Shop-in-Shop hos Elkjøp-konsernet i Norge, deriblant verdens nordligste som ligger i Tromsø.
