Xperia Ultra Z er navnet på den nye, megasvære telefonen fra Sony. Megasvær i skjermstørrelse i alle fall, den er på hele 6,4 tommer og har en Full HD-oppløsning på 1080p. Den er faktisk så stor at Sony har valgt å slippe et kompatibelt håndfrisett som kan brukes når du skal ringe med den.

Spesielt tykk er den ikke, bare 6,5 mm og 212 gram stor. Det er tynnere enn for eksempel iPhone 5, men også dobbelt så tung. Men så er skjermen mye større også. Mer naturlig å sammenligne med er nok Samsung Galaxy Mega, som har en 6,3-tommers skjerm med 720p-oppløsning.

Heftig innvendig også

Under panseres drives telefonen av en firekjerners prosessor på 2,2Ghz og 2 GB RAM, hvilket bør være kraftig nok til å drive den store skjermen. I Sverige får du nå krav om kringkastingslisens dersom du kjøper datamaskin, om du ikke eier en TV. Det bestemte den svenske forvaltningsretten mandag.

Radiotjänst, som er ansvarlig for den svenske lisensinnkrevingen, har den siste tiden sendt ut fakturarer til forbrukere som nylig har kjøpt datamaskiner og hisset med det på seg 20 husstander som nektet å betale lisensregningen.

De dro Radiotjänst inn for forvaltningsretten i håp om å slippe kringkastingsavgift for sine datamaskiner, men måtte mandag se seg nødt til å betale.

– Alle må betale

Ifølge Radiotjänst spiller det ingen rolle om man ser TV på fjernsyn eller en datamaskin.

– Disse personene er nødt til å betale TV-avgiften fordi de har en datamaskin, sier saksbehandler Victoria Bäckström i Forvaltningsretten i Luleå til Aftonbladet.

Lisensinnkreverne har også sendt ut fakturaer til personer som kun har mobiler eller nettbrett i hjemmet.

Ifølge Aftonbladet vil Radiotjänst nå få retten til å avklare om avgiftsplikten også skal gjelde smarttelefoner og nettbrett.

Bäckström mener forbrukerne ikke kan gjemme seg bak argumentet at de ikke benytter datamaskinen til å se TV.

– Samme sak gjelder om man har en TV som man aldri benytter. Det er enheten som er av betydning, og har man en TV må man betale, selv om man ikke har en digitalboks, sier hun.

Men rent formelt er man betalingspliktig så lenge det finnes TV-kanaler på nettet, sa SVTs kringkastingssjef Eva Hamilton til Dagens Nyheter.

NRKs kommunikasjonsdirektør Tommy Hansen har tidligere uttalt at også NRK i realiteten har mulighet til å kreve avgift for PC-er, men at rikskringkasteren ikke har sett det som nødvendig å benytte seg av.

Hansen sier NRK vil følge utviklingen av TV-salget nøye.

– En dramatisk teknologiutvikling, der TV-salget stuper til fordel for andre plattformer, kan gjøre at vi må revurdere hvilken finansieringsordning som fungerer best. Det er viktig for oss at enhver løsning sikrer vår uavhengighet i forhold til partipolitikken, sier kommunikasjonsdirektør Tommy Hansen til VG.
