Telegiganten AT&T var NSAs spion-partner – Dagbladet.no

According to The New York Times, which has been given access to classified documents from the American defector Edward Snowden, has existed a particularly good relationship between the National Security Agency (NSA) and AT & amp; T.

Data companies have since gone out hard and now claims that they have now adopted new encryption solutions to protect their customers, while telecom companies have been more reluctant to comment.

Tapped cables

A group of AT & amp; T customers have sued, accusing the company of violating the constitution, while the authorities for their part have done their best to keep most secret about NSA activities.

The documents also show how telecom company Verizon has assisted the NSA to spy on data traffic via these cables.
