No multi-player in Wolfenstein: The New Order - Gamer.no

Yesterday Bethesda announced the next game in the Wolfenstein series. The game is built on id Software’s Tech 5, is developed by Swedish Machine Games, and will as usual take the lead in part crazy madness with Nazis and supernatural element.

These elements are by no means surprising, but definitely something that is completely unexpected is that Wolfenstein: The New Order is solely a game for a player. It will not come with either cooperation or Competitive. This Bethesda and Machine Games confirmed above GameSpot tonight.

drop multi-player mode in an action game is highly unusual in those days. As a rule, it is the opposite, and developers put into multi-player mode in the series which traditionally has always been for only a substitution.

Wolfenstein: The New Order has developers in Machine Games decided to write about the history of the series, and has placed the forthcoming game in an alternate timeline. It all happens in 60 years after Hitler and the Nazis have won the war and took over the world.

The game will offer a solid blend of action and adventure, and will not focus solely on you to mow down enemies.

Wolfenstein: The New Order comes on sale for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next generation consoles at the end of the year.
