Following the global launch of Samsung’s new smartphone Galaxy S4 for just under a month ago, has sold over 10 million copies.
According to Samsung, this is a new record for the company. Galaxy S3 reached 10 million copies sold 50 days after launch, the Galaxy S2 reached 10 million after five months and Galaxy S spent seven months.

Android Success
Galaxy S4 is available in over 110 countries, and will gradually be available in a total of 155 countries worldwide.
According to a survey by research firm Gartner, Samsung had 30.8 percent of the smartphone market in the first quarter, while Apple only had 18.2 percent.
Samsung ended up with 95 percent of the market share of all Android smart phones collected in the first quarter.
Apple: S4 infringe our patents
success of Galaxy 4 is also known by Apple. The company claims that the smartphone Samsung infringes on five of their patents. Two should be related to the user interface to Apple, Siri two are related, and about a data sync patent.

Paul Vedal, sales director for Elkjøp Nordic states that it is Android-based phones that have had the biggest increase in the past.
Samsung has probably the largest market share brand in Norway today, although the iPhone often tops the list of best-selling model.
– Now in April, however, Samsung also topped the list: Top sellers in our shop in April, the Samsung Galaxy S3 in first place, ahead of iPhone 5 second and iPhone 4 on the third, he said.
