It is precisely such results which is why Andresen uses both its own staff and money in trying to create a better world.

– Reasons for Ferd’s commitment is to achieve our vision: to create enduring value and leave clear tracks, he tells DN.no.

– When it comes to Cracow specifically, the spot for us. They provide opportunities for youth as the public does. The project focuses on their advantage and get them to make good choices and create value for themselves and others, says Andresen.

Cracow

  • Norwegian consulting company founded in 2009.
  • Company considers Asperger Syndrome as a comparative advantage.
  • has today 17 employees, 14 of whom have Asperger Syndrome.
  • Provides services for testing and quality assurance systems on commercial terms.
  • Its customers include the major companies like Nordea, Telenor, Statoil, Canal Digital, Hafslund, Gjensidige Forsikring and Norwegian Veritas.

Ferd Social Entrepreneurs have contributed to Cracow since March 2010. The contribution has been in the form of milestone-based subsidy and expertise in organizational and business development skills and Telecom Computing.

In addition, Cracow had access to all other relevant resources and network, says Andresen.

– The solution to develop Asperger to IT consultants and software testers are inspired by Danish and Swedish social entrepreneurs. Cracow’s model has proved to be so successful that other countries are now adopting this, says Andresen.

Cracow CEO Lars Johansson Kjellerød can demonstrate a good business development.

– Last year we had a slightly negative result but a positive social returns with six new employees. In 2013 we are set for a profit and positive social results with three new appointments so far this year, he says to DN.no.

class=”bold”> Getting praise
solutions that are better than what already exists is one of the Ferd owner looking for in the projects he supports.

way Cracow working on getting today praise of Norwegian politicians who think the public has much to learn from the IT enterprise.

– What do you think politicians can do to include more in the workplace?

– A potential improvement is collaboration between vocational rehabilitation and the business community. Many of the former are sparkling examples of how to provide the skills and develop the motivation to get back to work, while others do not have enough throughput, says Andresen.

– This is a local management responsibility. It is also important that Norwegian businesses that bring in people it costs half a position to include getting incentives that lower the threshold for doing just that. This exists, but the system can be increased in scope. I think it will quickly pay off, but we must dare to measure the results and impact, he said.

In Cracow ‘customer portfolio there are currently only two public companies.

– Another obvious measure is to ensure that social entrepreneurs are supported and commissioned by the government. It is good “pay-back” on, says Andresen.

– Reduce risk
having to bring in people who for various reasons are struggling to adapt to the workplace, according to Real director Vibeke Hammer Madsen that companies are dependent on both advice and financial support.

– Firms need at least to have the right knowledge is needed. When it comes to making information readily available, says Hammer Madsen to DN.no.

An investigation has indeed made among its members shows that half of the member companies have taken the people of the internship. According to the survey, 60 percent of those given permanent employment.

– Much about the ability to add temporary in the private sector, for example, up to a year. We believe it will reduce risk and barrier and make sure we get more quickly into the job, she says.

Commends companies
Cracow is admittedly an ordinary IT company whose aim is to scoop the employees in other positions.

Andresen will in that regard praise Norwegian companies, which he believes is far more inclusive than you might think.

– Let’s start with Telenor that the company gave Cracow first mission. Secondly Hafslund constantly hires the guys at Cracow and brag them up in the clouds. And the list goes on, to hear what happens next. HR Director at Aibel Haugesund is inspired by our work with Cracow. He “skipped” both Cracow and Ferd and go directly to NAV and takes into with Asperger Syndrome to set up a new documentation center. The person is now a permanent employee in Aibel, said Ferd owner.

– There are certain differences, even in our system, so the potential for improvement is certainly true, he stressed.
