TechCrunch has already received tested the new trackpads that are found in MacBook (which hardly other than batteries) and MacBook Pro.
Force Touch will be found in all Apple products
In addition to knowing how much pressure you put on it, it also provides vibration feedback.
It is very likely that Force Touch will be found in iPhone 6s or 7 (as previously rumored, and again the rumor this week by WSJ), because now Apple Watch and thus these two portable Macs been equipped with technology no other company can boast.
Could it be the biggest improvement since real multi-touch? Not impossible.
Arrived earlier than expected
We tested the technology at Mobile World Congress in 2014 and thought it was really cool, but we only thought of mobiles and tablets, and not on the laptop. The reason this has not yet been found on the smaller gadgets is enough power requirements:
“We can talk about how cool it was a whole evening, but it’s still nothing that beats to test this myself. We hope that this is going on tablet and phones some very brennkvikt? Yes, but we have to wait.
Why? Jo: The representative we spoke with at the booth thought that they might be launched tablet with touch technology of one or two years, and probably with Fujitsu logo. Norway is hardly the first country on the list. The company would not disclose potential partners when we spoke with them.
On the question whether this sucks spark of life out of the battery was the answer cash “yes”. This will certainly take time to improve. “
How is it to use
” Force Feedback “wonder your finger to believe you press a button hinge, ie so common trackpads are built today.
The feedback sent to finger based on technology called “lateral force fields.” It allows for finger to feel the different textures that are not on the slippery surface.
“Force Touch” feature on the new trackpad makes it possible to press the “deeper”. This provides several levels at the clicking. The effect is done so well that it actually feels like pushing deep into the touchpad as the does not move at all. Scary good. “
TechCrunch calms those who think they will miss physical click. According to them it is impossible to notice a difference.
ITavisen return with tests of new MacBook well as Apple Watch as soon as we get hold of them, probably next month.
