Structure of the company

Currently, she 10 lounges with nine in Oslo and one in Singapore.

Tanja’s Nail salon on Holmen center is one local who have so far acceded to the solution.

– I think this seemed like a good and positive idea, says Tanja Ravn Myhre in the lounge.

– Small lounges that Tanja is among relevant in our target market. They may not have a large marketing organization. They may not have the capacity to take care of such a self, and that is where our platform and opportunity for marketing comes in. But also larger salons fit into our platform. It is important with good selection of lounges, while we want good salons to maintain quality, says Kristina.

Found right partner

To develop a digital platform is very expensive. The 27 year old has therefore been strategically when selecting partners.

– With me on the team, I have my partner Bjorn Kalkdijk and a technical team in Porsgrunn. The idea started at the dinner table where Bjorn and I were talking about different ideas we would like to work with. I had just come home from Gründerskolen in Singapore in cooperation with Innovation Norway, and was very inspired by startup culture where entrepreneurs really focused. We therefore decided to try and put the pursuit of a technical team that could develop the technology, she explains.

Having hunted several months, they found the technical team, with four developers, in Rubynor in January 2016.

Competing with giants

Kristina fighting however against giants.

– We were not aware that Schibsted was about such a thing when we started up. But it does not feel. We are still at it becoming an attractive platform, and have great faith in this, says Aarvold.

– We have yet its strategy a bit after we heard about major competitors, so we are going to go into more exciting strategic partnership forward. In addition, yesterday we soon into investor rounds where we want to find “the right one”. Capital is obviously important to take no. 1 position, she said.

Ambitions

The aim is to have 100 salons in the course of this year, preferably in eastern , Asker and Bærum included, she explains.

Testing of the platform is in full swing.

– We really started with the lounges that are affiliated. We are constantly working on technical solutions, so all tests and feedback, we appreciate on, she said.

Tough gründerliv

27 year old has got taste that entrepreneurial life can be tough.

– Yes, it is extremely a lot of work. And one must in fact be available all the time. Some vacation I took yet this summer. I go into this fully believing it to succeed, she said.
