The newly-established investment company Novela Technology buy the bandak fjord Engineering from konkursboet after the bandak fjord Group. The sign Ålesund-based Novela Technology in a press release Monday.
the Acquisition takes place after the Novela Technology has signed an agreement with DNB regarding the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in bandak fjord Engineering. It is not stated how much they pay for the shares.
Ivar Nesset, who was to start up gründereventyret in Ship Equip, is the managing director of the Novela Technology.
Known names
Novela AS standing behind the company Novela Technology and in the board of directors of this company, we find several well-known names from the business community on the northernmost part of fjord norway as Jon Erik Engeset, Jogeir Romestrand, Jan Change Vartdal and Leif-Arne Langøy.
On its website informing the company that they will invest in selected companies with “significant potential for growth and value” in that they create their own kapitalbaser for each investment.
It is pointed out also that the investments normally to be realized within three to five years.

The local investors have faith in the future for the Kvenna EMT, and is impressed by the knowledge of the company.
New capital from the Novela Technology and medinvestorer will ensure continued operations and to preserve the unique competence of the company, states the press release.
Erik rongved to enpro, managing director at bandak fjord Engineering, says it is exciting with new local owners and that he is sure the company will develop positively in the years to come.
Former Liaaen Technology
the bandak fjord Engineering was previously Liaaen Technology AS, but changed its name after they came under the bandak fjord-umbrella in 2010.
the Company is located in Kvennaneset in Ålesund town centre and has around 40 employees.
Already, when the parent company bandak fjord Group went over earlier in the summer, it was suggested that it could be a solution for the continued operation of the subsidiary in Ålesund.
Minus in the accounts
In 2015, they had a turnover of nok 83 million. It was far lower than rekordårene 2014 and 2013, when the turnover was between 130 and 140 million.
