A professor at the American University Boston has sued Apple, and requires the company to stop sales of the iPhone 5, iPad and MacBook Air.

professor believes Apple breaks one of his patents in 1997, writes MarketWatch referring MacWorld.

In addition to the sale of the products must cease, he demands compensation for all Apple has earned on the sale of the products.

According to the professor, the technology Apple uses LED screens that break with the 16-year-old patent.

Boston University has a long history of litigation against the world’s largest IT companies. University has previously sued including Samsung for a number of patent infringement. Also Amazon was sued in connection with the launch of the Kindle.
