Now you can locate Sony phone if you lose it.
Sony has launched a new service that will enable you to locate your phone if you lose it. The service is named My Xperia, and similar in many ways Apple’s Find My iPhone service.

My Xperia has been in beta testing in the Nordic countries since January, but is now officially released for the rest of the world too.

In addition to that you can locate your phone on a map, you also have the ability to remotely wipe your phone if you think it has come at the hands of unauthorized persons. You can also lock the phone, send a message to it with your contact information, or get the phone to play a sound. The latter can be useful for locating the phone if you can not remember where you put it. The audio signal will be played even if you have activated the silent mode on your phone.
service will be activated for all Xperia models released in 2012 and 2013 over the next few weeks, according to a blog post from Sony.
