Viggo Kristiansen claims rejected again - Fædrelandsvennen

OSLO : In a recent decision of the Commission on Criminal Cases states that the Commission has several times previously rejected claims from Kristiansen about the new case.

The last request came in June 2011. The Commission notes that the recent petition largely based on the same grounds as before, including matters related to the credibility of Jan Helge Andersen’s explanations, the so-called mobile proven, the DNA evidence, the offender profile was prepared on the initiative of attorney Klomsæt, and new factual information suggesting that the killings took place at a much later date than the courts have assumed.

“After the Commission’s petition essentially an adaptation of the earlier petitions and arguments, without having obtained any decisive new or indicated any particular circumstances which give grounds for reopening.”

In the unanimous decision of the five members of the commission’s conclusion and that there are circumstances that make it doubtful that the former judge is correct.

decision was made 11 December.

– In January, it sent enough a new application for revision, says Kristiansen’s lawyer, Arvid Sjødin.
