This you can do together on tablet and mobile - Aftenposten

It can be much joy in finding common ground on new platforms, says psychology professor Ingunn Hagen on the small screens and social media foray march.

We asked three experts for suggestions and tips on what you can do together on mobile and tablet at Christmas. Certainly across generations.

In a series of cases, we look at how the small screens affects our daily life and social interaction in the family.

Monday we wrote about the family of Shem have introduced a so-called “mobile basket” where guests must put down the phone before they come into the room. Tuesday we wrote about the babysitter, who believes we risk losing touch with our children in a display heavy everyday. And yesterday told IT expert Torgeir Waterhouse about his family handle the increased screen usage.

New Opportunities

Editor of the mobile site Mobili, Marius Valle, do not think it is necessarily so everyone VIII sitting face down in their monitors at Christmas.

- Immediately I think that there may be a social aspect to it as well. That one shows off pictures and such to the other family. If grandma is not on Facebook can the tablet be used as a photo album. Otherwise there are the numerous games that can be played by two people on the same screen, such as Cool cherry trees, says Valle.

He points out that there are apps that can be used with games such as craps and Risk apps. And missing family board games they can play the example Monopoly on your tablet or phone.

– Or how about one of the younger family members offer Grandpa a crash course in tablet or app use for Christmas? Many older’ve gradually acquired smartphone, says Valle.

Within a year, nearly twice as many children between three and eleven years had access to the media tray and 46 per cent have their own mobile phone, according to figures from TNS Gallup Media Children Survey.

– Explore caves together

Journalist Goran Solbakken game site Gamer.no think Minecraft captivates both children and adults.

– Mobile and tablet version has been very good. You can build your own buildings, go on adventures, explore caves, and has several devices in the house can collaborate on each screen.

He also turns a blow to the ever popular Angry Birds or one of the many variants of the game.

– This is fun for the whole family, for whom like’re not hurling angry birds at pigs naughty once in a while? And if you’re not in the mood to play so like all the drawing. Drawing Pad is a great tool for both large and small to exactly this.
