Tobarns Moras simple experiment gave her a real awakening – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): After a low threshold experiment in your living room now urging tobarns mother Brandie Woods other parents to cut down on Facebook use and other modern technology that takes time.

On Facebook writes Woods she noted that twin sons her so up on her 28 times during a lekeøkt to get her attention and recognition.

– I could not help but wonder what signals I had sent out if I put my nose down in the art. 28 times had those little angels mine wondered if the Internet was more important than them. 28 times had not my boys got the attention that most adults also strive. 28 times had my beloved wondered if they were emotionally alone. 28 times they had received signals that the person you are on social media is what really matters.

tobarns Mora goes thus with a Facebook appeal, which possibly was written while the children were under supervision of others:

– In a world where we become more accepted as the person we give ourselves out to be, and not really who we are. In a world where recognition comes from how many followers we have. In a world where quality time with our loved ones are replaced by isolation and text messages from another room. In such a world, I ask you to be different. Please put down the gadgets and use more time with your family and your loved ones. The upcoming generation of children trust that we will teach them what it means to be an adult. Do not be too busy with social media, you never know never know who is watching you and what signals you are sending.

The post is now divided over 70,000 times and received attention in several major media. She is very happy that her message has touched so many.

– We have the power to change things, she writes.
