Apple has discovered a small but critical error in the operating system for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Macs. Fortunately, the problem is both identified and resolved – but it comes in other words for users to update.

iOS

Have an iPhone, go to Settings> General> Software Update . The latest version is iOS 7.0.6 and with this you are safe. The update addresses a number of other things too.

OS X Mavericks

Do you have a newer Mac running OS OS X 10.9 Mavericks, was a critical update just released. It will update your system to version 10.9.2 and you do this by either giving the Apple menu and select Software Update or by starting the AppStore application. The latter will find the update for you automatically under the tab Updates .
