See Google Olympic protest - Hardanger Folkeblad

[Teknofil.no] The Olympic Games (Olympics) in Sochi, Russia, starting today.

Prior to the event, there has been much focus on the laws of the host country that prohibits homosexuality.

both Europe and the United States have been notified of protests against Russia because of this.

also has Google given their support to the fight against discrimination during the Olympics.

If you enter the search engine today, you will see a picture in color of the rainbow – a symbol that is frequently used in the struggle for lesbians and gay rights – with a quote from the Olympic Charter:

“To engage in sport is a human right. All people should have the opportunity to play sports without any form of discrimination – and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding, friendship, solidarity and fair play. “

This raises perhaps more attention in the U.S. than in Norway, according to Mashable, U.S. companies hesitant to publicly give their support to lesbians and gays Olympic participants.

None of the official Olympic sponsors – Coca-Cola, Visa, Samsung, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, Omega, General Electric and Dow Chemical – should have given his public support for the homosexual issue.
