Rural Development award was as usual handed out in connection with the Norwegian participation at the exhibition Inter Grüne Woche in Berlin. During a press conference at the Norwegian embassy in the German capital on Thursday afternoon, proclaimed Agriculture and Food Sylvi Listhaug Moer farm and Norwegian Antibodies AS to the winner.
Moer farm is owned by Ole Egg. In addition to running the production for human consumption, corn and forestry, Egge has established Norwegian Antibodies AS together with Øystein Larsen and Erling H. Sundrehagen. Norwegian Antibodies AS produces antibodies from egg yolks. The clients of Norwegian Antibodies AS biotech manufacturers and researchers in the EU, U.S. and China. Production takes place on order for specific requirements.
Moer farm and Norwegian Antibodies AS was one of three nominees for the National Rural Development Award for 2013. The other two nominees were Angedal Gard in Sogn og Fjordane, Balke farm in Oppland.
