Seller in spades, but convicted of unclean traveling in Taiwan.
In a news desk is part of their time to orient themselves in what has happened in the past day. For us, this means almost always a Samsung novelty or two, but in the last day, the mobile manufacturer surpassed himself, and ended up in the spotlight for a number of different things.
Seller Galaxy S4 in spades
We start with the Galaxy S4 sales. Analysts have recently claimed that Samsung has not sold enough to meet its own goals for the model. According 9to5google.com company has now lifted the veil, and told how many Galaxy S4 models have been sold since its launch six years ago.
The intense smart phone to be sold at 40 million units worldwide. It is still a bit unclear whether this is pure sales or shipments to distributors and retailers.
Despite speculation about weak sales, ie Samsung sent off ten million more units of its new top model, than they did the previous model, the Galaxy S3. It sold “only” 30 million during the same period.

Record Profit
so fresh sales is perhaps not surprising that Samsung once again reporting record profits for the last quarter. The company gained the 9.56 billion dollars, or 56 billion in the third quarter. There is an increase of 7 percent from the previous quarter and an increase of as much as 26 percent from the same quarter last year.
figures represent the entire company, engaged in everything from microwave ovens to shipbuilding, but cell division will be responsible for a significant share of these profits. The increase will largely come from the company’s less expensive models, while sales of top models have not changed much compared to the previous quarter.
Easier than Apple
Another happy news for the company is that Samsung now, for the first time, Apple has passed the listing known as Global Brand Simplicity Index for 2013. Apple has previously been the dominant smartphone vendor on this list, with a 7 place last year when Samsung was not in the top 10 listing.
This year, however, Apple declined to a 19 place on the list, while Samsung has moved up to 8th space. The analysts behind the listing, the company Siegel & Gale, justifying jumped with the Galaxy S4 has stolen market share from Apple’s iPhone models by being very easy to use, and to have an elegant design.

Convicted of unclean traveling in Taiwan
It is not only happy news that has dominated the media around the Samsung. The news that the mobile manufacturer has received a fine of 340,000 dollars, or two million, Taiwan has also received considerable attention.
Samsung was accused of having acted inappropriately towards competitor HTC. Through their PR agencies to Samsung have got bloggers and forum users to post messages, without apparent sender, who speaks the HTC, and Samsung recommends instead.
bot is not huge, compared to the huge moneymaker Samsung is. The fine could basically been approaching 5 million, but the country that is at less than half. In comparison, Samsung last year ordered to pay Apple the $ 1 billion for patent infringement.
A popular internet rumor, that is not correct, would have it that Samsung has already tried to pay Apple – with several trucks full of 5 cent coins. The fine is, as far as we know, not yet due.

It is namely the internal storage which shall have received many calls to lock up and stop working. The problem should also apply Galaxy models.
After the problems were revealed by the main state TV channel in China, CCTV, Samsung has added the surface. An apology to customers posted on Samsung’s Chinese website, and the company has promised to repair all phones that are affected by the problem and reimburse expenses for customers who already have their phones repaired.
Have they stolen electricity?
Another innovation that is not pleasing to Samsung or LG in the competition, the speculation about a possible power theft. A new report claims namely that the two industry giants have stolen power from the South Korean online all the way back to 2004.
country has regulated electricity prices for energy-intensive industries, but it is illegal to use this energy for anything else. The report accuses the two companies also spending power in offices and research laboratories.
Currently, none of the companies are guilty of this practice, and it remains to be brought forward details of what actually took place. Should it turn out that the content of the report is correct, however, both Samsung and LG expect to have to pay double the price for the electricity they have consumed outside the clean production facilities.
