Adobe has warned banks after hacking - Sunnmørsposten

Software company Adobe Systems on Friday in time security, after the credit card information of 2.9 million customers have gone astray.

Multiple Adobe products are affected. The company mentions in particular the products Adobe Acrobat, ColdFusion and ColdFusion Builder.

– We have notified the banks that process customer payments for Adobe, so they can work with credit card companies and card issuing banks to protect customer accounts. We are also in the process of notifying those customers who have credit or debit cards which we believe are involved in the incident. These customers will receive a notification letter from Adobe with additional information about what they can do to protect themselves from potential misuse of personal information, the company, which also has asked the police for help in the investigation, the company said.
