Risnes is Hamideh Kaffash his attorney, and confirm that they are already underway to prepare for the trial, which they hope can get up early in the New Year in 2015.

– It appears as something funny that one of the Iranians who application was rejected for a residence permit here, to continue their project in Sweden. Another has gone to MIT in the United States instead, says Bovim.

Hamideh Kaffash has previously called the expulsion breach of fundamental human rights.

– We do not mean that NTNU will break Norwegian and international rules, but this expulsion is based on completely wrong basis. I think patriotic Norwegian professors best know what is sensitive technology, Kaffash said earlier while she was still in Trondheim

Selected Norway

She pointed out that many Iranian scholars have had offers from other countries, but that they had decided to investigate Norway.

– We have not done anything wrong than to be born in our beloved homeland Iran. This applies not only us who are being sent out, many other Iranians have lost motivation after this happened, said Kaffash.

Immigration has justified the rejection that they are researching areas that are sensitive in connection with weapons of mass destruction. The academic community at NTNU believes, however, that their research does not have any relevance to weapons of mass destruction.
