850EVO are new disks of 120 (999 euros), 250 (1449 million), 500GB (2449 million) and 1 TB storage capacity (4399 million) which according to Samsung is quicker and last longer, than SSDs without 3D technology.

“3-bit 3D Vertical V-NAND”
“The new SSD builds on Samsung’s own technique 3-bit 3D Vertical NAND (V-NAND), which provides a significant improvement in both performance persistence. They are available in stores in December, “reports Samsung press release.

Hopefully 850 as good, or better, compared with 840 Pro (512 GB model costs 3199 million) as in a recent test was able to keep going strong after writing 2 petabytes data.
