London was the venue when Samsung on Thursday evening last a number of new products with Android and Windows.
product launch where it beforehand was clear that there were new products and product groups Ativ Galaxy that would be presented.
Galaxy series is their Android products, while Ativ the series with Windows products.
Although Galaxy news was expected, neither tablet or phones in the Galaxy Series presented. Instead, use the opportunity to reintroduce the various Galaxy S4-S4 products Mini Zoom S4 and S4 Active as we have already seen before.

But one news had still saved for last: Samsung Galaxy NX. This is a system camera that runs Android and 4G support. So a full blown “SLR” camera where you can swap out lenses and all. More about this camera, you can read further down in the case.
Ativ
however Ativ series that got the most attention. Samsung showed off two tablets and three PCs. Of these, undoubtedly Ativ Q which is the biggest news. It is worth noting that no Windows Phone products were launched, nor Windows RT products.
Ativ Q is like a three in one product. It is a Windows tablet that also runs Android. Ativ Q also has an integrated keyboard, so you can use your tablet more like a PC when needed.screen is 13.3 inches adults, as a replacement for small and light tablet like the iPad or Galaxy 8.0 is Ativ Q in no way whatsoever.
weight is at 1.29 kg, and thickness of 13.9 millimeters. But how big or small you think it is depends on whether you view it as a large tablet or a small and convenient PC with touch screen.
Whilst on the screen: Resolution is 3200 x 1800 pixels. It gives a pixel density of 275 PPI. Sharp and nice, our experience after taking a closer look at it. Samsung also boasts that the brightness is good enough that you can use it in direct sunlight.
screen has otherwise support Samsung’s screen pen S Pen, supplied. It can be used as a mouse, and you can use it to write, record and draw.
Android and Windows 8
But it is the ability to run two operating systems at the same time, the real icing on the cake. When we write “while” we mean really well together.
You do not in fact choose which operating system to start when you turn on the board. Instead start Android via Windows, and jumps between the two easy as pie.
fact, items from the two operating systems appear interchangeably. So you can for example have a Windows window open while using Android. Our impression after trying it a bit, is that it works reasonably well.
Android version is 4.2.2, and interestingly enough, it is used quite standard Android menus. Not Samsung’s TouchWiz menu system that you can find on their Android-board here, you know.
Windows version, Windows 8, and thus not the discounted Windows 8 RT. So you can run virtually any programs you use on any other PC here.
Flip up screen
keyboard located below the screen, and you push the screen to reveal it. Basically you get when a normal PC keyboard and mouse. But you can tilt the screen all the way around, and so use it as a stand for watching movies.
cover is made of magnesium, but the keyboard is entirely plastic. The battery should provide a service life of nine hours.
all powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. It is a 128 GB SSD disk integrated. Otherwise Ativ Q USB 3.0, HDMI for connection of the monitor, and support for Micro SD memory cards.
It’s going to cost to be the guy when Ativ Q goes on sale in late fall. The price is given to 13 000.
Ativ Tab 3
It may look like a member of the new Galaxy Tab 3 Series Samsung recently launched. Ativ Tab 3 is equipped with a 10.1 inch screen, is 8.2 millimeters thick and weighs 550 grams.
But this is basically a very different beast than Samsung’s Android tablet. It runs namely full version of Windows 8, allowing the same way as the Ativ Q can run all standard Windows applications.
Samsung has also included Microsoft Office 2013, so you have to buy this as well.
There is no keyboard but tablet comes with an integrated S Pen. This acts as a mouse if you need precision finger can offer. You can also draw and write with the pen.
It comes by the way also a keyboard cover as accessories, so you can use Ativ Tab 3 more like a normal PC.
Under the hood is an Intel Atom processor at 1.8 GHz. Storage memory is 64 GB and there is support for Micro SD memory card. Besides a Micro-USB port, the board also has a micro-HDMI port for connecting a second monitor.
price is given to 5,300 million, and the board will go on sale this fall.
