This is AMD driver you must have Windows 8.1 - Hardware.no

Yesterday evening, Microsoft released an open test version of its next operating system, Windows 8.1. The new system offers improvements in both design and usage patterns, but as it always is with new systems you also need working drivers.

AMD has released a Catalyst package designed specifically for Windows 8.1 Public Preview, so that owners of red graphics and processors using your computer in the proper manner.

Supports most

The new driver package can be downloaded via the links at the top of this page. The package is not part of AMD’s current driver system, but rather an independent service for those who want to use Windows 8.1 until the final release.

Samlige modern video cards from the Radeon HD 5000 and above are supported, along with most FirePro models. Each APU processors also seems to be supported, and you will see a complete list of model names please check AMD website.

Most of the features that come with an AMD video card would also work, including Eyefinity, WiDi and Crossfire support.

Nvidia via Windows Update

Nvidia has also released a special driver for Windows 8.1. It is slightly more accessible than AMD’s variant, as it comes directly via Windows Update. The version number is 326.01, and it should appear among the updates as soon as you have installed the Public Preview version of the system.
