NAMSOS: It shows the recent Citizen Survey 2013 made under the auspices of the Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (Difi) on behalf of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs.
result is slightly better than in 2010 when the last population survey was done. Said 71 percent of nordtrønderne that they were very satisfied with life.
survey, released Wednesday, shows that satisfaction with public services are generally good and that people are more satisfied than three years ago.
There are some rock in the sea.
– The survey shows that many people are happy. But citizens’ impressions of public services varies. The impression of the hospitals are still good, but this is the only government service where impressions have gone down. The debate in the media and among politicians have long shown that transport is a challenging area, and residents say they are still partially dissatisfied with Norwegian roads, says Hans Christian Holte, director of Difi.
He adds that the impressions of that home nursing care, nursing home and assisted living is much better in small municipalities than in large ones.
survey is conducted every two years and this continuity means that the survey is a good measure of how public services are perceived by the population over time. The survey reveals both citizens impression of the public and users’ satisfaction with 23 state, county and municipal agencies. The businesses in this way valuable information about where they succeed and where they need to improve.
PS! In an informal survey in Wednesday’s NA, says over 64 percent that Norway is the best country to live in. So when is it not so bad to.
