Sony: - Xbox One response was a useful resource - Gamer.no

Xbox One unveiling in May hail of criticism from the tree gamers worldwide because of the console’s user requirements. To play you have to originally be connected to the Internet at least once every day. One could not lend, sell and play freely, and had to use the partner stores for used sales.

Last week, Microsoft turned on chips and dropped those requirements. The console will thus in practice the same requirements as the current consoles do. Within the turnaround was done competitor Sony has melded well on the negative response, especially during their E3 conference where they practically went straight into the throat of Microsoft.

– There were many who told me what they thought about the situation on Twitter before E3. It’s not that user reactions alone determines how we approach the hardware guidelines, but when we thought about what we had to tell and how we should present it, the response was a very valuable resource, Yoshida tells the magazine.


Early response

This is not the first time we’ve gotten hints that Sony does to the consumer reactions. Towards the end of May had several Sony employees recognized the massive resonse on Twitter, but did not for obvious reasons not say much more than that lamentations were heard.
